Introducing Aktimate Mini the magical sound of a high performance speaker with a pedigree that's second to none - and the convenience of an iPod dock. Designed first and foremost for high performance sound, AktiMate Mini uses speaker and amplifier technology from renowned British manufacturers Epos and Creek.

AktiMate Mini is an active, 2-way system negating the need for a separate amplifier. It has its own 40 watt per channel amplifier built in to one of the speakers and an iPod dock, too. Any iPod model will fit, or use the rear panel connections to accommodate any MP3 or MP4 player. AktiMate Mini also features RCA stereo inputs, enabling connection of a second, hifi source product, such as a CD player, DAB radio or PC source.

AktiMate Mini's stereo line output enables easy subwoofer connection or the option to run a second pair of AktiMate speakers. A simple video output is also provided, delivering pictures from iPod to television, making AktiMate Mini an elegant accompaniment for high-quality AV systems. And because the speakers are fully shielded, placement alongside a traditional tube-type television is perfectly safe.

For convenience, AktiMate Mini's USB connector will charge a connected MP3 player (iPods are charged via the dock for even greater flexibility). Voltage selection makes AktiMate Mini a great travel companion, ensuring your music sounds great at home and on holiday.

Keeping things simple and ensuring clean lines, the front-mounted, multi-function controller enables volume setting and, with a push, switching in and out of standby. The supplied remote handset not only controls the amplifier's volume, muting and standby functionality, but also all the basic functions of a connected iPod, so there's no need to get up to change tracks.

Supplied complete with hook-up cables to connect the speakers and adaptors for all iPod models, you get everything you need in the box.
