Featuring HDMI v1.4 connectivity (6 in/1 out), supporting 'Deep Colour', 1080p resolutions, 3D content, 24 frames per second 'native film' format and upconversion and upscaling from all inputs to HDMI and 1080p, the RX-V671 has fantastic video performance. Component and composite video inputs and outputs also ensure compatibility with older equipment. High Definition audio is certainly no problem for the RXV671. It will decode Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, DTS-HD Master Audio and High Resolution Audio. The 7 x 90watt output can be set up for 7.1 output or 5.1 with bi-amped front speakers. For even more flexibility there are powered outputs which can run speakers in a second zone or front height speakers controlled by Dolby ProLogic IIz.
